I got talking to a women today and I mentioned I'm a window cleaner but going to be starting a round at my new house and she tells me there are 2 window cleaners here and that her window cleaner charges £4 ever 2 weeks. The houses I only 1 up and 1 down

So I was wondering do any of you who do Wfp do 2 weekly cleans and if so what do the customers think

I have people on all sorts of wierd and wonderful patterns. the way I see it is the customer can have what they want as long as they are prepared to pay what I want to charge them and it fits into my round. money's money

My entire round was once 2 weekly. But then they were only 45p per house and that was 40 years ago. It was all leather and scrim work then as well. I was 2 weekly for at least ten years but gradually as my round grew I couldn't get it all done in 2 weeks and many people seemed to prefer 4 weekly. So it was a gradual process really. I rarely get asked for it now. It's usually 4 or 8 weekly and very occasionally 12.

Guy on an estate about a mile and a half away from me does them 2 weekly.......wouldn't mind but even traffic around the estate is minimal only one road into it it's like a large dead end estate....some of the house are maybe 50 yards from the road down paths.

I have most of mine 8 weekly these days.

Once explained the benefits of WFP and how the glass does stay cleaner longer they all like the 8 weekly.

I tell them all. 'It's up to you, go 8 weekly and if that's not enough then just change to 4 weekly.'

like marko, it was all 2 weekly years ago before all this pure water & wfp came into use. everyone had ladders and a bucket of Warm soapy water. & freezing cold Alliminium ladders.

When your water FROZE on the customers glass & your fingers srarted to go PINK, it was time to get home.

I used to put Antifreeze in my water in very wintery weather, It did the job. I should have drank some also, but i never tried it.

You dont know how good life is now with your WFP stups and Van mounts. FUR LINED GLOVES, , Fur lined hats, Fur lined Boots, Padded Jackets.

OOHHHHHH i miss the old days:itwasntme::itwasntme::cheers:,

If customers asked for it, my answer would be no.

Id rather lose them and keep my round tight. Quite often myself and mark my worker can bang out £350-380 and be in the same road all day.

I have kept my round 6 or 12 weekly for years now, so we know exactly where were working and how long it will take us.

Any new customers that insist on 2,4 or 8 weekly, I take their details and phone another windy who works local, and he buys them off me. We've become quite matey, so this works well /emoticons/smile.png
