Why do people under price so much. People like this custy need a rocket up their jack for being so tight. Their happy enough to buy fags paper and booze every week. But can't get to grips that tradesman like us can carry on cleaning windows and fighting through dog shmit filled ally ways for a fiver. Had three this week call up asking about a quote. Every one of em. On the phone said. "You will give me a good price won't you. " I only respond one way to a potential pain in the **** customer.

How many windows have you got.

If you want a one off times your windows by 3. That's ur price.

Regular 4 weekly X 1.5

2 of them said no there and then. Other was happy. Custys like that mate will only bring down your quality in your round. They will only pay cash and will always moan about everything. Better off over charging mate. Rant over. [emoji23][emoji23]

i get people say how much and ill say £15 montly, if i say 4 weekly ppl seem to say thats a bit to freqent, so i say monthly and they dont complain. they will try and haggle me. i say i dont go shopping and when the bill comes to 90 quid haggle and say ill give you 50. i just dont bother now. ill take them on and find someone to replace and dump those sort now.

£10 -£12 depending on location etc.

I wouldn't be over confident though at that price. 7-8 seems to be the average for that near me.

in my world you pay for what you get, if you go down the market and pay 5 quid for some shoes you cant complain about the workmanship gone into them. for £7 you will get a splash and dash.

I was thinking 18 on an 8 weekly, but may have over counted on the side of the house.

I wish I could get those prices.

The most I would get away with is £12. The least is £8. Traditional would charge between £4 and £10. Every small zone has a cheap windy. Some areas are good. I am sometimes shocked how cheap they do them for, then think, well it only takes 5 mins to do. Good hourly wage if you are on or came off the dole.

Keep prices high and do less work !!!

Remember tradding is much cheaper to run - less equipment and maintainance. And tbh experienced tradder is often as quick getting round the windows, especially if cheap and cheerful only cleaning glass and leaving sills dripping.

i dunno bout that, i started a job on a 4 bed home and the house over the road had 2 ppl tradding it, one out the back and one on the front and i finished the same time as them.
