The day in the life of a Professional Window Cleaner

WCF

Help Support WCF:

I used to get up,

Have a cuppa,

Load van.

First job by 8am.

Work till all jobs done.

Depending on time some canvassing and quoting

Home for dinner

Out for collections

Home again for an hour of of paperwork etc.

By about 9pm the day is mine again.

NO WAY WOULD I DO THAT NOW!

Now?

Wake up around 7, that's my built in alarm clock, I'm not one for laying in bed so I am up.

Kettle on, make a cuppa, lap top open.

Check bank balance, adjust cleaner planner debt list, add new customers to the Cleaner Planer, remove any drop offs. Update expenses.

Make another cuppa,

Check email & FB and answer any queries that need dealing with.

Head out and do any jobs that are on the list for the day.

If a reasonably early finish then leaflet a street or two I have pre-selected or head out to any quotes that need looking at.

Head home, plug in tanks for a refill.

Have dinner.

Walk the dog

Hit the forum and talk toss.

The end.

always check the weather out, so i will have an idea when i can get out.

make my porridge.

fill tank,

eat my porridge while tank filling.

head out.

Up at 7am.

Use bathroom before wife and five kids get in there.

Get dressed.

Stink out downstairs toilet.

Get to first job for 8am.

Do a bit of work.

Stop for something to eat.

Do a bit more work.

Meet up with @daveyboy for a chat.

Do a tiny bit more work until around 1.30pm.

Go and see my dad for an hour or so.

Go home.

Fill van.

Spend fifteen mins on paperwork/planning.

Sort kids out/cook dinner/etc.

Tell the kids to bugger off upstairs at 7pm.

Spend evening with mrs and reply to messages, text any customers with access issues for the following day.

Get in bed around 11pm.

Get rejected by the mrs.

Go to sleep.

My idea of a professional window cleaner is someone who manages their own round/s successfully. Interesting and funny reads haha

Go home

10 minutes admin

Couple of beers at rugby club or at home

Interesting the amount of advertising people do on a daily basis.
Depends on the aims of the business Damo. Although i think advertising will always be part of the business!!
