Dog poo! How to tell customers to clean it up prior to visit

i carry trainers for internal cleaning too. but i couldn't ever work in them outside, i like steel toecaps.

Ye I have a house where Front garden is full of ****, take ur dog for walk instead of putting it on garden

one thing that annoys me is when customers know you are coming and they leave their dogs out. i refuse to work with my hoses everywhere when animals and kids are about. i always tell customers please keep them inside for 15 mins while i do the house. most aint got a clue. been attacked 3 times since window cleaning.

I ditched one customer as had to go through 5 back gardens two covered in dog poop and my customer didn't even have a dog so not even her fault

Just be honest about it ! . Simply say that you cant work under these conditions .

Well said. More like wont work, unless cleared up appropriately.
There's too many consequences of dog poo left. Client only has to realise, once its trod in their OWN house. I bet that wont happen!.

i was asked to quote a big house once walked through back gate and saw dog logs every were im not joking i must have spotted 15 from a quick glance huge garden grass i stopped and said im sorry but im not traling my house through all that !he looked shocked and said dont worry ill pick it up i said as its been left there for a wile it will still get on my hose as no longer solid and walked off morel of the story if house it a shitttt tip walk away as it will always be a shitttt tip ?
