PLASTIC BARBED TAPS 4 POLE HOSE

Has anyone fitted the plastic waterflow taps onto there pole hose,

ATM i use Gardiners taps around £10 a go, They have a problem with the Mesh teth inside the body what grip the pole hose.

Ive been searcing for the plastic barbed waterflow taps, ive only seen 8mm id on ebay. too big for pole hose

Surely the plastic ones are not that durable , I prefer to use metal taps as shown in pic I have my pole hose on my hose reel as I use a tube less diy set up the tap in the pic I have been using since last October .

iron, they are hose reel taps, i have taps fitted on pole hose under brush . easy to drop pole and turn tap off. there must be pressure on the mesh inner teeth when extending pole all day

What are the benefits of a tap, is it just to stop water flow without uncoupling the hose?

its to turn waterflow off as and when needed from your pole. set up pole for tops, turn tap on under brush, raise pole & clean tops, drop pole down, turn tap off , back on when ready to do bottoms.

or if chatting to a custie, just turn water flow off. saves water

i have a main tap fitted on reel hose, for when removing pole from reel. handy when removing poles from van, just turn tap off.

hmmm, ok. I just use the hose pinch method. works a treat
