I wouldn't want to use it all the time must use a lot of water. Running off of a custom out side tap for Connie roofs and fascias I think will be good. Picking one up next week iv got a hospital appointment next week it's 20 miles from me and there is a supplier there that keeps them in stock I go there when I'm over that way to restock with the bibs and Bob's. I phoned him and he has stuck one under the counter for me.

Rinsing with whats on brush has worked perfectly for decades. Just another way for James to fleece people to line his own pockets more. Nothing wrong with that. That's business, just don't expect any customer service when things go wrong with xline product.

I've only shared this story with one or two others but as many seem to notice I have no love at all for X-line or James Daykin. so here is why.

About 4 years back I had been working for a large commercial firm called CMS. The firm was in money troubles so they start messing with your paypacks and claiming that you had not done the hours you said etc. (The whole time the director is still driving his Porsche GT2 to work)

Any how. I quit, grabbed a cheap escort van and a DIY system off eBay. Bought a pole off James.

Now CMS purchased a stack load of systems through James (around 60 I think I heard) upon my recommendations as I used to stop by X-line for a cuppa. James will tell that tale different but hey ho.

So rolling in my Escort van we ran into that super harsh winter. Radiator and bunch of other bits blew on the engine and the van was basically D.O.A.

I call James whom's the type that comes across as everyones best mate and ask if he knows anyone needing a worker then please pass my number along.

This is what he says next:

Were just putting another van together and sorting a round for it. The round will turn over minimum £500 per week. We take £150 for the rental. Any work you add on top is yours but when you leave it goes to x-line.

Awsome, I said. -- It's yours, he said.

So.... I stop looking for work. A week goes by 'oh yeah, we're just polishing up the round'.....OK.

Two weeks go by...... some other excuse.

Three weeks go by......... he wont answer his phone. And so on.

Now what little cash I had is gone and no motor. Seriously we were down to six slices of bread in the fridge.

I borrowed some trad tools off my mate Vinny, borrowed my neighbors 18 rung double and started walking around looking for dirty windows, gutters etc.

Two weeks later we wern't hungry and I had made enough to buy a little VW Bora with roof rack and lighter ladder.

A couple more weeks go by and my phone rings, it's James. But wait....... he's only dialled my number by accident, he proceeds to give me some BS about hoe his dad given the round to an old school chum instead of me.

Another year passes and I have soo much work that I need to sell a good portion so I do. Two chaps called Steve and Dave. They ask what I think of X-line...... I tell them this tale...... they laugh......I ask what's funny??......they tell me that James dad (Also called Steve) had done exactly the same to them.

So there it is.....to date not even a 'sorry' for being a total.......what rhymes with 'hunt, bunt, punt, shunt?'

What did make me laugh is he had the nerve to send me a friends request on FB last week. /emoticons/smile.png)

So no... when it comes to James and X-line I will always warn people away and all cause he didn't have the decency to be up front with me.

I bought an xtank and it turned up minus 2 sediment filters and the tank had a fault in the manufacturing process that caused it to leak the first time I filled it.

I rang them and they said they would get it sorted, next day the sediment filters turned up in the post and they got the tank sorted for me within the week.

So yeah while it was a pain having these issues they were quick to get it all sorted out for me.

All in all I was happy with the service and the xtank is still going on strong, although I think the pump is starting to let a little bit of air in now but it's fine as long as the pump is bellow 50%
