Getting a lot of this just lately especially from New Customers who have had the first clean, looks like they are happy that all the mould and **** has been removed from their frames and glass and will call again when they are minging well all I can say is GAME OVER! "New cleans" as from now are charged the same as "One Off Cleans end of story!:finger:

When I'm asked ( can you do mine ?) I always say would you like them doing on a regular basis , if the answer is no , then I always say sorry I don't do one offs, if it's yes I take my time to bottom them out and then give them the price, because some of them time you to see how long it takes!

Next clean is half the time but the same price !

Cheers mate

Glenn.

Sorry didn't quite get that, you clean them first and then give them a quote?

Unfortunately its custys like that that spoil for genuine custys

I personally always charge a 1st clean rate regardless but if you want to go down the always same rate you should ask for this clean and next clean payment on 1st clean that way you wont be out of pocket time wise..

I have had 1 not this time and that is because they are having new windows fitted this week

The rest are no problem

They all know me and how i work and i have had no issues at all this year

I sent a blanket text out to all my customers that are due next week/week after as I knew a couple were away for Christmas. Only the two I knew about have text back so looks like I've got a busy Christmas ☹️ I was looking forward to a quiet two weeks so I can finish my van!!

Always charge a first clean premium, people will say anything ( especially this time of year ) to get there windows cleaned

Gave this women my card 3months ago phoned today asking can I call next week to clean windows told her straight far too busy with the run up to Christmas, I'll fit you in 4 weeks time

Still waiting for her reply

That's the one mate , when they say yes to a regular clean , the ones that ask how much ? I always say I'll do them first then let you know how much it will be , most of them say that's fine , odd ones crib , at the price , that's when I decide to knock a bit off the price or leave em , on the estates in some areas you get houses that are identical and if you're already doing the one next door they expect you todo theirs for the same price , but again I creep a bit more on the price and if they say that's more than Mrs smith is paying next door I say there's going to be a price rise shortly with the others so yours won't be going up , but with most of my work in the villages in the Dales every cottage and house is different and all have different prices .

Cheers mate .

ive had 2 this week, so i told them my quote is for 10 weeks not 20 so next time i come to clean your windows the price will be more.

I charge 50% more for first cleans and all new customers have to sign up to GoCardless Direct Debit before the first clean commences this way I don't get messed about .
