the tank in the van is blue , can you buy orange tanks or do I have to get the tank wrapped.

Why I am asking is because the new van is having orange speed liner

Hi NickyYes you can I ordered one on Friday in orange from wintecs it's due to arrive tomorrow or Wednesday I'll send you a picture of it when it arrives [emoji12]

The advantage with clear or opaque tanks is that you can see how much water you have left in the tank quite easily. With a black tank you can't so it would be interesting to know if you can see your water level in a coloured tank. It would find it annoying to have to unscrew the lid each time I needed to know how much water we had left.

Love the advantage of a clear tank . I would go mad if I couldn't see exactly how much left .. I know you can make an improvised gauge by drilling at top and bottom, placing a clear hose . But still ..

Down and he side of the blue tank I have there is clear tube , so I can see how much water there is in the tank, had it on my black one to so there will be one on the orange tank, I used to have clear tank got shot of it .

When working all day and van doors open all day the sun hitting the tank, I noticed after awhile the inside of the tank was going green

If you can be bothered you can always drill a hole at the top and bottom of the tank and fit clear tubing to the holes and as the water fills it will be visable through the tube..

I have an orange tank and you can't see the water level very easy,

There are a few easy ways to tell

The condensation on the side of the tank is a good clue as to how much is in there

Shining a torch onto the top of the tank shows the water level

I'd add one of these to an arduino and hook up some LEDs or a display to measure how much was left in the tank. And then you could log the measurements so you'd know how fast you spent water. And then... and then I'd get carried away... I would probably use just as much power for all my tech as for the pump itself if I didn't constrain myself. /emoticons/tongue.png
