Van insurers that cover wfp?

Just had my renewal quote of A plan insurance and it's gone up for some reason. Anybody any suggestions on which company's are the best for van insurance which cover you for carrying the system aswel

I have struggled in past but usually find someone I'm with dial direct atm. If tank isn't bolted to chassis it's not a mod and easier to get insured. They usually don't insure system though you need tool cover for that I think

I'm with the people advertised on wc warehouse, something about jez, can't quite remember the name, covers me with £1m liability insurance and covers my tools in the van up to £15k

I'm with A plan it went up a bit but not a lot and they will usually knock a bit off if you say you've had a better quote.

if they have put the price up just ask them to get the cheepest quote from a nother inshorer as there just a broker i use aplan im inshored with aviva 500l tank rachet straped with gas heater all my gear is inshored in the van to but i had to pay extra for that

Do they require the tank to be bolted in? I'm due renewal in February and also I recently had a quote for classic insurance for them for a car I bought so might see if they will do a deal

To be honest, I cant remember. I told them my tank is ratchet strapped in

This is what I was hoping for but Aviva told me the tank must be bolted down

I've just gone with Aviva, who were not only cheaper than Adrian flux, but actually answered their phones within 3-4 mins, unlike Adrian flux who take up to 25 minutes!!!!!

I was hoping to have the option of racheting it down so could take tank out if wanted to.

Their customer service is good.

I asked them about insuring my van with a water tank in my van. They said yes and didn't enquire whether it was bolted down or not
