Go cardless best thing I've ever done!

cant be assed with it just another thing to go wrong or sit on laptop even more ....

Must be orite if you can get it on but not a good start for me so sacking it...ill stick to chasing doe by hand i like been nasty

 
I do it all from my mobile and have my excel spreadsheet shared on laptop and phone with excel so any time i get a payment notification i update on my phone and it is automatically updated on laptop at home takes seconds each time i get a payment and no need to go on computer at home

 
I just checked my account and I have their sort code and a/c number which they must have provided for me to do the test payment. I could let you have it but not 100% sure they want you to send to the same account?

ive no idea mate ive tried time and time again its not having it..ive got it here but dont want to plaster it allover a forum just in case of owt

Did you have to scan your driving licecne or passport as well?

when the customer pays does it go into your bank then and also does it show up as there address so we know who has paid cheers.

Supposed to be out getting merry instead sat here messing with work stuff lol what a life /emoticons/biggrin.png

 
I've also had issues with trying to send the 0.01penny they are requesting....

Barclays says they can't verify the Gocardless sort code details & account number.

I reckon it's some sort of computer glitch their end as I'm not the only person with this issue.

I've emailed them directly to get one of their representatives to call me back & try and assist.

We'll wait and see how they respond.....

Yeah, that's what I've been trying to do but not succeeding so far.

Tried it on my phone & also on the iMac just in case there was an issue with security or something.

Hopefully Gocardless will reply and sort it.

I have used GoCardless since early 2014 and it has been faultless , It hasn't been an easy road to get as many custys signed up as possible in that time but getting your sign up page right I think makes all the difference mmwindowcleaning.co.uk/pay-your-bill.html

I have over a 170 custys signed up and overall this is currently the right balance for me and all new customers have to sign up to GC before the first clean commences and they have happily signed up without issue the only new enquiries that haven't signed up is I assume the ones that don't want a regular service so it has saved me getting messed about .

 
It does need to be run from 'current account' as far as I know it wont work with post office accounts or building society childrens saving accounts etc.

To use GC go to their page and follow the sign up instructions. If you have any issues signing up then you can contact support either via email or phone and they are best situated to advise you on what to do next.

Once set up you will have an electronic 'link' to your GoCardless that you can add on a receipt or a text for customers to follow. Alternatively if you have Cleaner Planer Pro (the £25) version you can add a form widget to your payment page.

When signing a new custy I just get out my phone, go to my payment page on my site and fill the details for them.

I use Cleaner Planner for round tracking. Once I have completed the day I simply 'sync' my round from 'CP mobile app' so it syncs with my desktop (this is the case of pushing a button that says 'sync')

The customer does not recieve an email 'requesting' payment, they recieve an email telling them that the job has been done and the money will be collected from their account on '28th December' for example.

The money apears in your account about a week later.

All the arguments of 'custys will be suspicious' are just mental blocks you yourself are imposing to find reasons not to use it.

In the new year I will be running a series of one day courses on marketing for window cleaning and external property cleaning. Using Cleaner Planner, George and GoCardless will be incorporated on that course.

im only using it for new cutomers and i have 50 late payers that im going to get to go on it if they dont there getting binned.

 
Managed to sort it via my phone but not my laptop...

Anyways when setting up a new plan how do I do this? It asks me the price but all prices are different?

I'm wanting the link for my website.

Isn't there an app for this like I can put a paypal app on my phone? Couldn't see a GoCardless app.

I've just signed up for this and izettle too.

Put a note on FB business page re the safety measures this and izettle have in place to prevent fraud. Will start ball rolling in the new year.
