Was just about to order 2 of the new Gardiner ultimate brushes. What do you guys think of them? I already use there sill brushes so used to a slightly heavier brush. Just not sure on the idea of the extra bristles on the sides rekon they will catch on brick work ect. There's not much info on them as there new. Was hoping there would be a video on them

Lol yeah they do look the dogs dangles but there's only one way to find out and that's to purchase them, Just ordered 2 so me and the lad will give them a good go next week and let you know what they are like /emoticons/smile.png

Almost bought one but it's same size as the sill I already use by them was hoping it was going to be wider love the sill brush all I use but wish it was bigger

I don't think I'd want my Gardner sill brush any wider to be honest would weigh a tonne, plus it fits perfect for most of my windows especially on new builds as they tend to be narrow windows

That

That brush is the new Universal not a Ultimate /emoticons/wink.png , Way to heavy for me @ 245g

Looks weird ! Was thinking about trying the Extreme brush myself next time , but it looks like it got a lot fewer bristles ?

If you are doing a lot of high level work then they are ideal due to been so light , But as an everyday brush they don't last long at all I used them for well over 8 months because of a shoulder injury they lasted me about 8 weeks .

The Supreme Soft Hybrid is a top brush for first cleans and builders/sparkle cleans and my second brush of choice is the Ultimate Soft made me own brush bumper this week as well sort off for the Ultimate 3 wraps of electrical tape lasted 4 days so not bad as the roll of tape cost about £0.40

Do you not find the ultimate brush to not last as long? I got mine shortly after release and I'm mostly trad and it's starting to wear bad so is the supreme brush My brother uses. The only brush I can't make a dent in is the super lite, used it at the beginning and now use it on pvc jobs and to wash my van

My Ultimate brush is doing well depends if you are heavy handed you are bashing the sides in and whether you are scrubbing the hell out of the glass to remove bird muck etc if so get a Gardiners Scraper and some bronze wool mini pads

Super Lite is way to heavy for me !!

Just recieved my 2 universal brushes when I got home from work. Really impressed by the look of them, there basically an ultimate sill brush with normal brushes on the side and some really stiff blue brushes on the corners. Carnt wait to try them out tomorrow. Will let you know how I get on, they seem light too deffo feel lighter than my normal sill brush. Only thing I noticed agen I's they are really tight getting onto the gardiner gooseneck /emoticons/sad.png

Get in touch with gardiners they will replace the quikloc adapters I bought a few brushes which had the same problemthey sent new adapters thru the next day great after sales services.

thats my thaults to the brush looks good but to heavy ill stick to my ultmats and supreme brushes for now

I got the same brush last week and had the same problem with the quick-loQ adaptors, received new ones in the post next day - gardiners really are a class above with customer service!! [emoji106] I'm not convinced with the universal brush, it didn't feel right to me and the plastic seemed to keep hitting the window no matter what angle I had it at. I'll try it again in a slow day but so far it looks like it's going to be another door stop ☹️

I thought the ultimate flock was the best brush in the world and it is on leaded and wooden frames used it all day yesterday as I was working on an estate where every house had leaded windows, but today was using the ultimate medium soft and that is now my favourite brush apart from leaded and wooden frames, when I now use a sill brush it feels like a dead weight,

Have you used a sill brush before? I use sill brushes for everything so I'm used to them. Yeah I'm not too bothered about the quick locks not fitting as well as they should as they aint going no where. I'm used to the extra weight as I only house bash with them. But maybe I should make my day easier and get some ultimate brushes. Sorry if I've cause some confusion with this thread as I carnt change the title name to gardiner universal brush as it should be.

Think next time i order some brushes ill for for either the ultimate or superlite and get some bumpers for them as the only reason I started using sill brushes was to protect ther sills.
