Squeegee chat

Funny that, I've just been reading about the excelerator and it too has some good reviews.
I've just read my first 1 star review on the liquidator. That's been the only poor review I've seen

Probably someone who used it once like a normal squeegee then gave up. You need to use it slightly differently, @daveyboy has done some, and polzn bladz (who designed it) has some awesome ones on YouTube showing how to use one properly.

Yeah I was thinking that too, I'm more than willing to tweak my technique in order to get the best out of it. I feel it's time to change anyway..... I've been on standard brass squeegees since I started, so it would be nice to have less detailing to do lol

Bob does some awesome vids..i just don't have the time to start putting music on and editing..i just film what i need to to show what i am talking about..am tempted to do some decent vids if i can find the time

I said to him months ago i would try and pop up and make a vid together for a bit of fun but every time i get some time to myself something comes up..it would be good to do

I haven't got a public channel mate

My vids are only visible to anyone with a link

I will make the decent ones public when i do some

I still use my smaller brass channels with FaceLift red rubber. Works great and are very compact.

In addition I use 45 and 55cm sörbo because I really like to be able to angle the handle.

What sizes are your brass channels? I was thinking about chopping mine down once I've got used to the liquidator as my go too squeegee

Hi guys, I'm just having a slightly hungover Sunday. And was having a browse through the forum.
Which has made me decide to ask this following question.....

Am I one of the only window cleaners that still use this type of squeegee? Lol

I use a 10" and a 14"

I'm thinking of changing to stainless steel to be fair. But it will just be a stainless steel version of what I already have.

I once tried an under ninja and hated it. Couldn't get used to how chunky it was.

I used this when I began out.

Soon changed. I didn't like how cold it got and when wet it was slippery.

Unger Ninja I agree is unnecessary big.

I use the standard Unger ergotec 10", doesn't get cold as it is plastic and rubber stops it slipping. Great squeegee.

Noticed the small squeegee handle is unger. If i dont get on with the handle of the liquidater can i use unger on my 10 and 12 inch. Haven't bought or tried a liquidator yet.

I've noticed a big differences this week with having the plastic handle of the liquidator. A lot of people have said it took a while to get used too. I was fine with it after 3 windows. Think it's probably because I've worked with straight out of the box standard squeegees for long enough.
