how many people dont knock? when i was canvasing i found my self looking at alot of these and walking away but there windows were manky. what do you do? knock or not?

i always knock all doors regardless as it's a way of making sure there is no dog waiting for you to put your hand in .

if they say anything i just reply im just making sure no dog goes for me before i put something through your letter box .

Some I knock some I just walk away depends how I feel.

I walked away on this house on this street where I have like 15 customers(highest round on one day)

The sighn says, we dont want any cold callers, tradesmen, charity knockers, pvc window etc etc we have no money in this property to pay anyone!

Anyway few months down the line on a hot day a oldly lady was sitting outside her front door.

She says are you a window cleaner?

I said yes do you want your windows cleaning.

She said yes when you done everyone elses.

So had 16 on the street now.

Just goes to show!

hahaha ironic i put posted my card in a mahooosive house that had the sign and just got aff the phone with the owner for a 2 weekly clean...lol price it up on monday..result

Well I got to a door and letterbox had No salesmen, leaflets, junk mail blah blah blah, I knocked, no answer, so while I was stuffing a flyer through the letterbox the door opened.. Can't you read? She said very cheekily, i goes, Sorry just I'm cleaning windows in the area every 4 weeks and I'm trying to build up my round, would you be interested? NO I WOULDN'T! And handed me my flyer back.. I never said anything and walked away, and left her gate wide open, which had a big PLEASE CLOSE THE GATE..

No I can't read beach!!!
