Anyone on here had any problems with split tubes on there gutter vacs? Mine seem to be fibreglass or carbon not too sure however 3 have split & ive only used the machine a dozen times..

Gutter Sucker mate, from WCW.. 3 tubes split surely that's not right..

Not just me then, I have the gutter sucker, purchased a couple of years ago and used quite a bit.

Only had one tube go, splits about a hand length long.

I remeded this by cleaning the out side of tube the applying electrical tape in a spiral fashion up to where the split stops, tape has stayed on for a while now and works well.

Nearly had a hart attack when I see it, what with how much they charge for poles.

Mien was caused by grit in the tube when coupling together, what I do now is have a bucket of water handy and just plonk the ends in before assembling them tougher , this gives it a rinse and a bit of a lube :thumbsup:
