Pump any good

WCF

Help Support WCF:

The pump you have shown is fine if you are using about 50 of microbore. When I upgraded to 100m I found it didn't have enough to achieve a decent flow at the brush head.

I now use these pumps

DC 12V 130Psi High Pressure Diaphragm Self-Priming Water Pump 5.5Lpm 80W | eBay

About 14 quid and work great. The 5lpm ones I use in trolley.

Get a few as they will pack in when you least expect. The one I've had is almost a year old but I've had them start to go after a few months before.

I don't use a controller just run it flat out. Cheap as chips

How many pumps have you used, over what period of time?

@Skxawng pumps quite often have water in when you buy them new it's where they have been tested to make sure they run ok. My new sure flow had a little water in. Should have a inline fuse between controller and pump or battery and pump if you don't have a controller.

The 4lpm ones about 4 and the other ones um on my second so 6 but 2 are still alive and in use so 4 I've binned. About 2 1/2 years I think.

Dont forget that's run flat out with o controller they would likely last longer with a decent controller but at that price I just bin them. When they start to go they are still ok for trolley they just lose flow rate. I not had one completely doe the others just got weaker over time.

My sureflo cost £70 now 10 years later I replaced it. Now that's value for money and no repairs to slow me down.

My pump I replaced was still working I just wanted a faster flow rate.
