Should have told her if it's that easy get up a ladder and do it yourself

What does she think the job is worth..a fiver??

People like that it is best to just block her and move on although i would be fuming after being spoken to like that as she shows a complete lack of respect

Totally agree @daveyboy been thinking about it all day. felt like saying you obviously on have the budget for some beermoney type with an old bucket and dirty T-towels good luck with that one :wait: now blocked from page ect ect

This is especially true with any fb work when having a business page. It's a tricky balance to get,but usually worth just smiling and moving on...unless debt is involved.

To Be honest @Poles Apart that wouldn't have been my preferred response either BUT you have to be so careful with people of this type as they can do untold damage to your reputation if the so wish and as you know reputation is every thing.
You reply was very polite and non confrontational. The internet is full of trolls and your reply doesn't give them ammunition to start an argument.

If you don't take the bait they will move on and try to push someone else's button.

I had one pop up on my boosted fb status. All they wrote under the comments was 'Methil 3.50 Thornton more than double'

He had been on my round but unhappy due to paying more than double what he was used to. I was so angry that he chose that medium to challenge my pricing.

But.. I educated him on that very status and also used it as a platform to explain why I charge more..frames,doors etc.

Got to be professional but put spin on when spin is needed.

Its because these idiots cant see it from a business perspective

All they see is £45 for 15 mins (no idea how long the job would take just an example) and think crazy thats 180 quid an hour or whatever.

What they dont consider is that it might be an hour round trip to get there and do it minus fuel and running costs, tax etc.

I do car valeting and i really dont do that much now but had a guy ring today he wanted his car washing, yes just a wash. I quoted £50.

Got a similar response.

If its a one off job for a none regular and its out of the way there has to be a minimum charge to just turn up nevermind do the job, I try to explain it this way, but am easily provoked i would have reacted poorly to that reply lol

@adamangler off topic but how many car washes do you pull in a month approx? Good side line you have there.

Do these just come off your website?

I washed van with pure for first time the other day, never has it looked cleaner lol
