What resin

Been using unger resin for about 7 years with no issues but a small window cleaning shop has opened near me and only sells the ionic resin which was £57 for a bag, just wondered if anyone else had used ionic resin before? Or are they more than likely all made in the same factory but different packaging?

If he is selling for £57.00 a bag then there is a bit of vat going astray as not even Ionics can sell their resin for that price.

I would double check to see if it is Ionics as their bags are printed and no labels stuck on.

You can buy the pallet and get it cheaper, and they sometimes do deals Xline have ran it cheap a few times

Yes you can but not at that price. That is £47.50 net he is selling it at and I know what price Ionics are bringing it in so it may or may not be the genuine product or someone is selling it at a big loss if they are including vat.

Yeah it's a legit ionic bag no labels. I was thinking it was cheap I might go back tomoz and buy another lol they have only just opened the shop so may have give me the wrong price

Sorry that's with out the VAT added just checked the receipt £68.40 I paid although she told me £57. Lol

I have used it when it first came out. Ionics boasting how good it was- it is literally the worst performing resin I have ever used in 13 years!! Don't waste your money.

It lasted a fraction of the time of any other resin I have ever used- and I have used just about every one available.

Well I brought it as has no option, a bag of unger resin lasts me 5 weeks normally that's using 650 litres aa day so will see how it compares.

See how you get on. A fill that I would normally expect to last approx. 4 weeks lasted about 7/8 days with Ionic resin.

Will do ill check the tds output every week but most the time I can tell when it needs changing just by how the water acts on the window.
