Help Support WCF:

well i love working by myself...its the only time i get to have an intelligent conversation, always have!!!! i would be a hermit if i could

Who's with me?
What do you guys do to overcome?

I work all by myself...
Get yourself a little pocket radio with a built in speaker from maplins, £15.

Get a builders pouch, stick your radio in there, music or talk shows all day.

This is what I do even when I have my worker with me. /emoticons/smile.png

Just keep going even if you are not doing full days if you have the option , But do set yourself goals for something to aim for .

Take a break.

We all get like that some days. Some days o love the job some days I really can't be arsed getting out of bed.

What I've found is once i force myself out of the door and get working I feel much better than thinking about it too much

Or book a holiday.

I'm going to Italy next monday for a week. /emoticons/biggrin.png 3 more days work for me.

I find going on pof and pulling a skinny bird to help me out with my poleing helps me alomg for a few months

Hey that's just what I did for years. Chop them in for a new one every 6 months. Never be bored again:D

As you are married and maybe have a mortgage making sure you pay your bills should be enough but it isn't always , Get a holiday booked for later in the year and you will have to work hard to pay it off, In the short term get a hotel booked for the weekend or a cottage for a few days works every time for me .

I have got a holiday to pay for a big tax bill so I just keep on grafting and things just keep breaking in recent months-new washer,hi-fi,replaced a radiator in the house and truck is going into paintshop on friday all =££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££

My wife said to me the other day, "when we go to Italy can we go on a gondala?"

I said "sod that, it'll take us ages to get there by gondala" /emoticons/biggrin.png

Take caravan out once every 5th week so always got a holiday to pay for also set myself 2 daily targets 1st how much I can reasonably earn and 2nd minimum I need to earn once I have reached that then I might take rest of day off .

I've had this in the past. Trouble is longer i left, further behind i got, and then i was even more anxious about going. In reality all customers were happy to see me and once i got into the swing of it, it was fine. If there's a certain few customers that get you down, that you don't look forward to working for, drop them and move on. That's what i had to do. It can also be due to lack of sunlight over the winter months, which leads to less melatonin production in our bodies. Melatonin makes us happy. If we stay indoors just makes it worse.
