Hi guys,

What's the best chemical to use for cleaning pvc? At the min I'm using a combination of power washing, bathroom cleaner and a water fed pole. Then going over it all with a dry cloth and a magic sponge for ground in stains. It does a good job but It takes forever. I was wondering if there was a chemical out there that would reduce my cleaning time.

unger rub out is good but not cheap.

Cheaper options you could use are..

Ubik

Virosol

Screwfix no nonsense degreaser (my personal favourite)

And if its stubborn - magic sponge

Done a fascia and gutter yesterday had a couple stubborn on fascia and window frame used rub out with a wet magic sponge gone after a few second elbow grease another great tool to have box of tricks that's for sure.

By hand with a scourer sponge.
No kidding there is nothing better.

When you see how little you need per meter of PVC it is actually super cheap.
Thanks for that does it remove the gray staining on older plastics ? Does it put a shine on them ? I tried the stuff that's advertised on the banner at the top of the page here and wasn't very impressed with it to be honest , might get some of this to try

Used this again the other day splash marks on a window nothing would touch it, had to go over it twice but eventually moved it with some elbow grease.
