found a nice palce selling good quility microfibre cloths now. they are 400mm x 400mm and they sell blue, yellow, green, red and only cost 80p each!!! cheapest i've see so far!

I get mine from poundland! They work great. I just realised last week they your not ment to put micro fibres in the washing machine. There ment to be hand washed

i got some unger ones and they dont seem to be as good as the cheap ones.

i just put mine on rinse cycle in the washing machine, not had a problem with them.

I got loads from a shop near me that I get loads of bits and bobs from, quid each for 60x30cm and they're absolutely mint. Got them in different colours so I know which I'm using for which purpose. I got some scrims a while back but prefering to use these to be honest so I went back and bought another 40 so got 50 of em now.

They are OK in the washing machine as long as you don't put soap pwder in. The powder leaves a dusty residue trapped in the fibres of the cloth. Primark T shirts make good cloths once they are not fit to wear anymore, they are 100% cotton

I put a bit of washing powder in my paragon one & have been 4 6 months now & they are fine. Only put a small amount mind you but they are fine. I imagine some cloths are better then others as we all seem to use different.

I was told paragon sell scrim material in large rolls.. I use micros from £1 land.. Only use them for frames and sills, they ain't no good for drying the edges

im guessing your mostly talking about the small terry towel microfibres from poundland etc...not much good for cleaning windows, ok for sills or frams but you need the fine weave microfibres for glass

Very true gm. Belfast, you should try the premium glass fine weave micros....fantastic for the edges, especially the really big ones from Paragon. They soak the water up in a flash.

i find these clean the windows as good as the others, but i only use them on one inside leaded window and thats it.

I ordered a large unger micro just to try it out, should be here today. I have used scrims for 5 years, and the cheapy pound land micros just for the sills/frames
