Morning all!

Apologies If this is in the wrong forum!

As I'm totally new I am trying to get an idea of what van to get? I'm going to need to fit a tank, poles & equipment! For a tank size I'm thinking a 300ltr - 350ltr, if I'm totally wrong with the size of tank please feel free to point and laugh lol!

I have only been on here 2days and I have learnt hell of a lot.

Also where do guys get your Websites/Cards and leaflets made?

Many thanks

Paul

Well you like to start with a hard one, /emoticons/biggrin.png which van is very much down to personal choice but it is worth thinking about the area you work in and what parking is like, and especially customer gateways. No good getting a large van if you have to deal with tight gateways, granite rash doesn't create a good image. On the other hand there is never enough storage in a van for most of us. 350ltrs is pretty good for a one man band, 300 can sometimes be too little. Scudo might be a good choice, many have them. Traffic is very popular where I live, and it can take a larger tank, but not suitable for every gateway. On the other hand some manage fine with a Berlingo so it is a bit of a minefield. /emoticons/biggrin.png Just make sure whatever you get is mechanically sound.

Some swear by Vista print, many special offers to be had, but personally I print my own.

Good luck and keep reading, there is more to learn than most think, in fact you never stop learning.

Hi Wheatie

Most of the guys get their cards done with VistaPrint. As for the website look no further!

Here's a couple that we've done lately (not in any particular order):

http://www.teessidewindowcleaning.co.uk

http://www.prestigewindowcleaning.co.uk

http://www.windowcleaningfife.co.uk

http://www.rapidcleaningservices.co.uk

http://www.belfastwindowcleaning.co.uk

http://www.sharpeandshine.co.uk

http://www.bordercity-windowcleaning.co.uk

These websites are all owned by current members on here. I'm sure they'll vouch for me /emoticons/wink.png

Take a look at the link in my signature for information on what's included. I would say take a look at our website as well but we're redoing it this week.

Any questions PM me or just ask here.

Haha cheers mate I'll get you something nice for Christmas!

i have a little berlingo van with a payload of 600kg. in that i have all my wfp equipment and 2 tanks, 1x 250lt and 1x 125lt. and this does me a whole day. depending on what i am doing.

i use vistaprint for most things, but have more luck with the leaflets that i do myself on the pc.

Have you ever had that one weighed RC ? you must be sailing very near the limit when full.
Yer took it to a weigh bridge and had it checked.

When fully loaded with full tank of fuel, both tanks full, ALL my equipment, passenger, me set of step ladders and set of triple ladders on roof its about 10kg short of the 600kg payload
