Well done ,what van have you got.

Normally you have securing points around your van which you use cargo straps or you have a metal cage

Yes cheers got a berlingo i have considered straps probably easy option just worried about movement dont know if straps are good

You can see my tank installation in the foto's on the top of the home page. What size tank r u planning on using? Van Insurance companies aren't happy with anything above 650 ltr.

i got a 350litre in a prtner just got som e ratchet straps on the bulkhead

and strapped it in tight /emoticons/smile.png does the job mate

So you'd need to tell your insurers that you've done this? Better safe than sorry and it's not as if you've installed a nitros tank or anything so they shouldn't bump your premium.

Told my first insuranse company and they refused to insure me so I whent with Alexander Swan and It was about £420 and that covers equipment inside too.

I tried Alexander Swan in July. I told them i had wfp. 1st question "who installed your system?". I did it myself. "Very sorry we only cover systems that have been professionally installed". That was pretty much end of conversation. I do note that they have a tie-in with Ionics with regard to providing vans if yours is off road etc and therefore reckon this now shapes their reasoning.
