When U Go Canvassing Do U Sometimes Feel Like This ?

Went canvassing on a estate today thats been up for like 5 years.. the houses are pretty new... and i got 3 customers.... and i rekcon 2 of the customers on that estate will cancel me after 1 clean or they will be troublesome payers

I had 1 customer she goes her window cleaner stopped doing theirs... i was like okayy... when people say this to me i always find out their the bad payers after ive cleaned their house... lol

I got 3 customers today

2 x £4.00 front only

1 x £6.50

and got a 1 off clean which i dont mind /emoticons/smile.png

and got a customer while i was cleaning a house today at £7.50

and got a customer who cancelled me today he was a £4.00 front only aswell.

so am up £18.00

I used to get upset every time a customer cancelled. I used to think that I must have done a poor job for them to cancel. Nowadays I just accept that, although I know I do a very thorough job ( my attention to detail borders on OCD) I have realized that I can't please everyone, or make anyone commit to a regular service, so I have tailored my business and my attitude accordingly.

I picked up a lady about 6 months ago and She's covered in tattoos and has the compaction of an alcoholic and smoker, she only wanted her front windows doing (6) so I priced them at £10. while I was doing the first clean I thought I bet she cancels after the first clean or she'll mess my around with money. However 6 months on and she's still with me and always pays as soon as I pull up. Just shows you should never judge a book by it's cover.

thats true, sometime these sort of people are the better payers than the customers in suits!

Don't wish to hijack the thread, but OCD stands for obsessive compulsive disorder. In my case it manifests itself in ways such as checking every mark on the windows and detailing to a degree that may go beyond what is unnecessary. I also go round my van two or three times to check the doors are locked!

My wife also has OCD it's a very bad thing she can't help herself she has to clean all the time even if she tired or ill it doesn't matter she has to do it, if she doesn't she think something bad will happen nasty thing to have.

She is diagnosed with OCD it's not that she likes to clean, she has to
