Cleaned a hotel for exterior /emoticons/smile.png for 35 quid /emoticons/smile.png

and she wanted downstairs inside doing.. so i quoted 60 kwid she went up to her manager and came back down and she said thats fine /emoticons/biggrin.png

Then she goes we would like you to clean all our hotel room windows. we have 28 rooms. so i said to her how would i go in to them whats the best time.. she goes we would give u a master key etc.

So i quoted her 85 quid..

thats like 3 kwid per room so i think its good price ! /emoticons/smile.png

plus its gonna be time consuming going in and out of the rooms.

you should have given her an hourly rate for inside H as you never know how long it's going to take

it could take ages to get round all those rooms .

I cleaned a Hilton hotel and the hardest part was getting in the rooms and moving things from around the windows.

We priced per room and not hourly but don't underestimate how long a room will take.

You can always give guide prices and say depending on how long it takes etc it could be between ex. 2.50- 4.50 a room or whatever.

At my old firm we had 12 floors of about 40 rooms and my employer couldn't understand why it took us over a day. So he timed us and went mad because the window only took 3 minutes to clean the outside. He never took into consideration that we needed to use a drill to remove safety bolts that stopped the window from opening then use the key to unlock the window, move a sofa and connect our harness to the eye bolt. Then there was moving from one room to the next.

What is this hotel called? Do you clean the exterior windows of the 28 rooms included in £35?
I quoted 35 quid... but i never quoted her on the back... i said to her is that part of it aswell ? she goes yeah i go ok ill do them enxt time so call it 40 quid she said yeah great....

but 40 quid for this hotel is very good /emoticons/smile.png

It toke me like 1 hour and 50 mins to do the first clean today mate /emoticons/smile.png its a good hourly wage /emoticons/smile.png so am happy with that /emoticons/tongue.png

plus its not 60 quid cos im doing downstairs internals /emoticons/smile.png

Did you check the rooms H. Look at the windows. I still can't believe you won't learn trad. You won't need ladders although some of hotel windows are quite high. Well done mate anyway.
