Ladders And The Law

WCF

Help Support WCF:

That's right. If we all didn't do somet coz it may be dangerous or you could have an accident we'd sit in our houses all day & not go out. Unless a hurricane was coming lol.

Traditional window cleaning working from a ladder statistically is a very dangerous occupation. You are responsible for your own safety so best to go wfp without question. With the low cost of wfp diy setups available now it's a no brainer.
i disagree with everything you just said! trad window cleaning off a ladder is not dangerous when ladders are used correctly, wfp setups are not cheap at all, even diy ones, esp considering the need for a bigger vehicle, add to that the fact that ALOT of people do not like wfp cleaning on their houses and prefer trad.

if you ask me then being able to do just as good a job if not better then wfp at a fraction of the start up and ongoing costs whilst still maintaining your own safety through proper use of equipment is a 'no-brainer'

There is a WFP cleaner going round my way telling people that I am breaking the law by using ladders. What a low life. I keep my custy's happy and they stay loyal to me. Just seems to be alot of friction between WFP and Trad Cleaning... Both methods have pros and cons and the customer should be left to decided on what suits them and the family home they live in!...

That's not good really, that's just sad when they do that.

I've used a ladder for 4 years without ladder mitts or ladder matt. Never had 1 fall neither has any of my workers, common sense prevails.

the only time my family will get a 'kock' on the door is if you come round canvassing

Lol

Dailey - chili dude only having a bubble. You like wfp I like trad, I'm still looking to get s back pack though for the awkward and unsafe windows.

But if I can use trad, I will, simply because I can get a close up look.

Hey daley you need to chill mate I understand fully your opionions & respect them mate & everyone is entitled to them but calm down a bit. Some, like me, love trad. Wfp is good but I love doing trad & you have to respect that. As I said mate you can god forbid get run over by a bus tomorrow but don't stop you going out.

How much does the smallest backpack cost for the odd house with that tricky to reach window, How much does it weight, is it easy to use etc??????????
