so am looking at buying the clx 18ft but just wondering if it is possable to buy extension at a later date to make it biger the only reasion am not going bigger at the moment is funds a bit tight

thanks

A bit of advice I got today from some training I did with a WFP chap who seemed to know his stuff on the subject, was to go straight for the CLX 27 as it will cover most of your jobs and then some.

If funds are tight and wont stretch that far at the mo then he also said that an extension pole is possible if needs be.

Someone else on here might be able to advise differently though as i'm still a rookie! /emoticons/biggrin.png ..............

i dunno sorry mate... didn't ask! was my first time with WFP so was all to eager to have a go.

other people were saying how light it was compared to other poles.

i think Impact 43 have done Gardiner pole systems a huge favor using them on this course!

You can add sections to the clx18. You would need the base section from a clx22 to add another 4ft. You would add this by removing the base cap and sliding on to the base.

If you needed to go even higher at a later date you could add the base section from a clx27 to add another 4ft.

It is glued on. Usually as the pole gets a little older it is possible to pull it off or push it off by shutting the second largest (one in from handle) section down hard and pushing it off.

If this all fails then it can be cut off wth a sharp knife and a new one only costs £1.45.
