Websites

How do you intend to work with the search engines if the website uses Flash? Do Moonfruit force you to use Flash or have you used it out of choice?

Well it's free now, I'll upgrade to £1.99 later and that will get rid of moon fruit logos. Etc

It does use flash, no option to remove ( at least not on the free version) but it does fully support seo and has a separate part that you fill out..

Flash and SEO just don't go together. You'll probably be able to add a flash description and basic METAs but that'll be able it. You'll have an incredibly hard time ranking for anything with a website based entirely on flash. Seriously consider using something else like WordPress or even (dare I say it) 1and1. They'll probably cost a bit more to make but you'll get a better result that'll require less work in the future.

Na cos people dont search teesside they search redcar or middlesbrough and stockton so i want him to do these 3 instead

I actually went for cleannsimples.co.uk so thanks lol.

It's hosted via moonfruit ATM but I'm looking at word press and playing with it, not sure I like the layouts etc and its not as flexible but I do like the way seo works better and I do like the social media links it has

WordPress is the most flexible and SEO friendly platform around. If you don't like the layouts then you can change them without too much hassle. There are an unbelievable amount of plugins available there's almost nothing that you can't do.

I know buy I really liked the layout of my moon fruit one and struggling to get anywhere near it on word press, just need some practice. Only played with it for about an hour lol

hmmm I'm toying with Joomla or Wordpress not made my mind up yet. Ready to go though got new hosting set up so gonna work on design a bit then change nameservers.

I've used it a lot mate but yeah took a heck of time to get to know it properly. I know the back-end and file structure pretty well but dunno may still go with wp.

And Dave ya will easy get a template to that looks enough like ya moonfruit site (but better).
