Guys,

Please help, I have an opportunity to take on some contracts for cleaning some tenancy owned flats (if that is the correct terminology). 3 Storey Maisonettes. I have been asked to put in a tender but I hav'nt got a clue how to price up the job. Can anybody help out. Thank-you in advance.

Guys,

There are 3 x 3 storey maisonettes as in ground , 1st and 2nd floor each block has 6 flats with 4 windows to each flat and their is a shared stair well that has 6 windows. Thanks again.

Might be worth you buying the "winning at window cleaning" by Richard on here. His book has high reviews and iirc does have a lot of detail regarding pricing correctly

Estimate how long the work will take; keep you’re price/quote competitive as you can while still increasing your round value – but you do need to price it over your current hourly rate, otherwise, what are you doing?

Hope it works out for you.

Hmmm i wonder how many books richards sold /emoticons/tongue.png

It’s the number 1 best seller in the world huranh, for pricing for window cleaning (it’s the only book for pricing for window cleaning) even so the book hasn’t made me any money, if I sell a few hundred more copies, I should break even and start to make some money.

You need to learn how to price huranh; if you do learn! (And stop blaming your customers or location) how long do you think it will take you? /emoticons/tongue.png

The best thing about the book for me is I can often wind the Mrs up, with comments like… I’m published.

Commercial work - £400 a day. then work out how long it will take you. Then price the job.

You can do it that way, buy why not improve your chances of winning the work?

If you’re only averaging £150 a day why jump straight to £400 a day. Build your round up gradually, its going to get tougher as you go anyway, so why lose work that you could easily afford to do for less than the competition?
