who knows /emoticons/biggrin.png but it still can when turned off as I've noticed if the hose is discounected it's still under pressure so will suck in air.

I have just spent a long time messing with it and if I bypass the flo meter the pump runs flat out perfect. Must be down to that flow meter.

I'm shure the make is vairystrem or vairyflo it's a old one with just a dial on it gaarrrrr any of you folks got a old one lying about you want to flog? Cheers

it is just running at full power,

do you get air blocks all the time or only when tank is getting low on water?

it could be, becasue if the battery isnt 100% then the pump wont run fully and with a flat tank will get air in pump, so pump wont pump, when he takes out controller the pump runs at fully power as the controller has a volt setting in it, so that if volts drop pump wont work, so it doesnt get damaged, with out controller pump will just run till battery is dead, either buy a new van battery or run from seperate battery
