Ecover Vinegar Mix With Aroma!

I see what you mean about the shine!

Two windows side by side.

Bare in mind that I live with parents for time being, who already has a window cleaner!

He uses fairy!

One window left uncleaned.

The other cleaned with Ecover(on own) twice.

Then for a third time with white vinegar,

I can deffenatly telll the difference only if look up close, (inside and out)!

Hi all, newbie on here and to window cleaning , I have tried ecover the last time I was out never really noticed a differance from fairy , but I never had vinegar in the bucket , will try it this saturday , I'm guessing it baldes better with the vinegar in it ?

No mate, better shine. Steady with the vinegar though.

Never ever ever use washing up liquid of any kind to wash your car or van, it slowly eats away (yes even if rinsed as you can never rinse it completely) its the main contributory factor to cars that get rust round the bottom of the doors as this is where it doesn't rinse from properly.

Tesco do a car cleaner which does not contain this acid and is only £0.89p last time I checked!!

They don't use acid based cleaners for sure, the still use proper vehicle cleaners. But yes some decent ones do use pure water or at least filtered water

The main contributory factor as to modern cars going rusty, is the cheap, inferior quality of metals being produced, and then being used in the car manufacturing industry.

That doesn't help but using an acid based cleaner strips the protective layer on the paint which protects that inferior metal, so long as the metal is protected, it won't rust!!

Like I said.....You would only use Fairy Liquid to wash a car if you wanted to remove the previously applied polish and/or wax, prior to claying..re-polishing and then waxing.

Fairy Liquid will not eat through the laquer which protects the paintwork.

He did say that /emoticons/biggrin.png if you don't want to use ecover just use the pure water, it wont take anything off but dirt, it'll leave it shiny as hell and really won't be any worse for your car than it sitting in the rain.
