Help Support WCF:

Never mind gogled it, it just looks like they have changed the URL and added the name George to the main page?

I didnt bother reading anything else so I could be wwrong

Matters not to me, still 120 squid a year I can keep in my own pocket. I don't plan on working my nuts off with 400 custies a month, half of that or less and if I can't handle that in my head and a book theres something wrong.

lol mate I've built websites for 10 yrs, was one of the first dj's to use software, run irc channels, was a scener (some won't know what that is) etc etc so technology is no stranger. A book is easier and faster but thats just for me I'm just saying I won't be using them, I'm out lol

Excel not working out for you?

it is a great bit of software but i think it is time maybe to move on if aworka does what it says i can also keep a record on what has been done in the other van hour by hour and see where they are

Pen & paper all day for me. Same as dodg & Belfast. Yeah I can lose a book & a PCM can crash? You back it up I hear we'll so do I as I have to books lol. All custies on a4 paper in folder in drawer. Cannot lose it. & what's with the oldies lol.

I just think pen and paper is too much, we had a regular sat round last year and we used pen and paper, and when I first started off I had pen and paper great for small round/starting off, but when I get to 400 custies would be hard to keep track of all, especially whos paid and who havent!

I got bout 480 custies & believe me it's easy. A book with yer different areas in it. When you work in an area at the end of the day you get yer book out find the area page & write in who ain't paid. When you collect you cross them out. Your not concentrating on 400 custies at once?

just been speaking to chris at aworka and he is going to join the forum later so he should be able to answer any questions

Thanks Mark for telling me about this forum! There was a similar thread on another forum about the partnership between Aworka and George, and the differences between Aworka and George Online, so to clarify...

The two systems are similar, but the George Online branding is intended to highlight the partnership that I have with Paul at George Systems to provide an online alternative to George for those that want it. We feel the two systems are not in competition, but appeal to users with different needs. Although our products are different, our businesses share many of the same values, e.g. responding quickly to user requests and problems and providing robust, well-designed and reliable software.

One other key benefit of the the partnership, is that Paul has enabled me to extract data directly from the George database, which allows me to import more information than is available through the builtin George export facility.
