Hi all

Whats the best way to drill a hole in your van for van port water connection???

dont want to drill through tank lol

2007 berlingo anyone had a go???

Personally I wouldnt do it. It's quite tight for space under neither so could hit something you shouldn't.

ok im not doing it :(
then how are you going to fit van ports?

behind the rear wheel arch and the back doors on either side is a section you can drill into. Get under the vehicle and you will see this section is wide enough to run the hose down between the side pillar and the box section which is part of the 'chassis'.

This is my son's Peugeot Partner van and he has 2 ports on the drivers side. From this you should be able to identify which section of floor I'm referring to. The spare wheel is located in the center of the chassis box sections.

This is the same both sides, but I used the towing eye as a mounting point for the van ports.

You can always drill a small 1mm hole in the floor to make sure you got the positioning right. Use a metal hole saw as previously advised. The fuel tank is infront of the rear axle
