Sometimes leaflet and business cards can be a good alternative. I would say use both.

Always have business cards on you, and make sure any customers neighbours or doors you pass, get one put through their door. With the dark nights, make the most 4:30 - 6pm but getting leaflets out.

Then if you pick any up, get out and canvass that area.

if u need work asap then canvasing is the way forward mate

cos your starting out i suggest you knock knock and knock until u earn a minimum of 1 grand per month then u can start doing flyers /emoticons/smile.png
