Window Cleaning Planner Website With Phone App Will Be In Production Very Soon!

i am currently working as a graphic designer along side my brother who is an app developer. i am also just starting out on my window cleaning adventure.

From what you guys have said, it sounds like an app for your android phone/ tablet or iphones and ipads would be greatly received by the window cleaning community. therefore this WILL be going ahead.

any ideas you have and that you'd like put into this app would be excellent including names for the app.

its all about you "the window cleaner" and you cant beat advice from the people its made for. any suggestions are more than welcome. just reply to this

It needs a cloud system but needs to be usable offline/out of coverage and then needs to auto sync when you come into reception again.

You need to make it as a program you can use on the computer, it would be good if it could have several sections:

Customers details/address book

Quotations

Job calendar

Accounts

Etc

ive been looking at this software..its seems very "bland"

im thinking the same kinda thing with abit of "21 century" put in lol

make it simple and very user friendly! something you the window cleaner enjoy using and are proud to own. after all you pay for it so you want the best possible /emoticons/smile.png

thank you for the feedback, this is exactly the kind of info im looking for.

this is also exactly how we are thinking...

there will be a main website where you can log in online, this would be your "base"

aswell as this there will be an offline app for your portable device in which you can edit all the neccesary things when out and about (planner, jobs etc..)

and like you say, once in range of internet access it automatically uploads all your info. glad we agree on this because i realy do feel this could be a huge success and hopefully something all window cleaners just cant live without

hi iain,

i haven't looked into George as yet but have literaly today been using aworka.

its an impressive bit of software and can see why many people use it. although we have not put it into production as yet (very soon though hopefully)

i feel we can deliver the same service in a more attractive and productive way, therefore making it more enjoyable to use for you guys.

the main reason also is i feel we can offer all this for alot lot cheaper. but by no means less sufficient and not losing any of the quality. (also a brilliant usefull app)

the big difference is the price : as we are a small development team (but with many many years of website and app development behind us) we dont need to pay anyone to do the work for us making the link from us to the customer direct, meaning we dont need to charge as much as these other companies.

we have realized the pricing of other companies can be steep. ours will be hugely below the average..we are looking at £39.99 for the year.
