How Many Do You Clean

WCF

Help Support WCF:

Arc, my cousin who has cleaned for 20yrs says I will speed up when I'm full time at it, he does 6 houses an hour but only wipes some cills down for the fussy customers. I don't think I can go any faster as I'm totally wiped out after 8hrs
Six houses an hour?? one every 10 minutes, not allowing for breaks etc. He can't be doing them properly, or are they two-bed bungalows?

Yeah, I think thats a bit quick too. If you can get 3/4 jobs done an hour your laughing. When its compact you can get through more, but thats not maintainable. You will always have odd little clusters. Thats how you build it up. Get a couple on one street, then over the years you pick up more and more in that area.

I say £10 because although you can prob do in say 15 min if you get 2 in same place ie dont have to move van thats £20 for 30 mind work but you have 5-10 mins effin about with hoses but if you can wangle another one close in there you are laughing i try not to price below a tenner then that gives me alot more room for negotiating new jobs

Yeah mate your right .

But some customers only see it as a sideline and not a real job

I have had them say to me so whats your real job then or when do you stop work for the winter ?

Not bungalows mate, I can do four-ish an hour and don't think I could manage any more than that and that's on my compact round

Well that was a struggle this weekend, felt like shoite all week and still not great, finished the 16 I had left from yesterday in 4 hrs but 3 were flats,I'm totally done in my gluts are screaming

Flipping heck. I'll have to light a rocket under our guys! Most days they do around 8-10 jobs. If I saw 30 jobs on a worksheet for a day I'd wonder what had happened.

Not possible to say for us. We have over 1000 different houses from 2 bed bungalows to 100 bed hotels. Each bloke turns over on average £180 per ady I guess.
