Ive reached a big milestone, well for me so decided to treat my self to a new pole / brush. The ones I have now are okay and do they job but I want better one, The ones I have now are 25ft impressor and a brodex 35ft I think it is (weighs a ton) I very rarely use it.

I liked the video I seen of facelift poles, Has anyone on here got one yet? Would be cool to here some reviews on it...

Suggestions for poles also 20/25ft

was going to buy a face lift pole this week, but nowhere had them in stock, so i brought my heater instead, mike said they are gettin more in, but didnt know when!

The weight is similar
I have both the SLX and Phoenix carbon poles and the actual weights of the Phoenix full carbon poles are as follows:

Phoenix 18 = 1050g (advertised as 950g) Actual Length 16ft 9"

Phoenix 22 = 1360g (advertised as 1200g) Actual Length 20ft 5"

Phoenix 26UL = 1450g (advertised as 1300g) Actual length 24ft 9"

Ill double check when mines comes.

Can someone remomed a brush, day to day brush. A monofilament brush, pencil jets, Something that has those smaller bristles in the inside and larger on the outside? I dont want something that weighs a ton though.

Im not fussy honestly

Alex, just to make few points clear. The Phoenix does not have positive stops meaning the pole can be extended (thus making your statement null and void) beyond the bands (which are a guideline) unlike the SLX/CLX range which does have positive stops. But besides that, your jokin right?? Have you actually seen your website info? SLX/CLX 18 is actually only 17ft (5.2m on your website) while the SLX/CLX 22 is only 20ft 10"!!! (6.37m) extended.

I think there is a phrase you need to be aware of before attacking other companies poles - people who live in glass houses.....

Plus the weights advertised are as yours without hose and collar, etc. but as you aware the Phoenix Pro is lighter than the equivalent CLX and the new 25ft Phoenix is more rigid that the SLX-25 (rigidity you seem to place more importance).

Not at all. Alex is trying to defend his pole range against a (some say) better pole being released. As I've said to Alex before, he has never taken such an offensive approach to a pole before, which speaks volumes.

Just to clear some issues up. Mr G isn't always the accurate information source unfortunately!

Hi Stephen

As you have only just come up with the 'two-finger' rule - which no-one else was privy to (including your clients until now), my measurements were taken with the poles extended so that the silver marker section is showing in the clamp window which has previously been the recommended stop point on poles with over-lap markers. All of my comparitve rigidty testing of your poles was carried out without the two-finger overlap as I felt this only fair to the poles. However I will be carrying out some more testing using these new approved settings.

looks like G has made his measurements without the 2 finger rule. Which would make his statement correct. If it has a gray strip to indicate where you should stop extending the pole, that is where the measurement should be taken from IMO. Also the height of a brush should not be included in any measurements taken for that product. not unless it comes as part of the product.

As has been discussed in great detail on another forum already - all of our exact sizes have always been on our website for all to see and compare. Our poles are designed and listed in metres for exactness, but to help with choosing the correct size are named in ft (for the UK market) to the nearest size in ft when fitted with gooseneck and brush (actual working height not 'reach' as some manufacturers do - including Facelift's own older pole ranges). This has not provided any confusion for our clients at all in the last 5 years or so of sales.
