Hi,guys..this is all a bit new to me so any help greatly appreciated...I'm looking into getting set up with a 6-750ltr kit...firstly would this size kit be ok in a fiat scudo...and secondly any recommendations of suppliers from you guys?iv seen the ksystems kits on eBay...is this worth the money?

If you are looking at a 750tank then the weight of the tank, frame and water would be around 900-1000kg meaning there will be nothing left for driver, passenger, fuel or other equipment, most single workers use from 250-300 a day depending what they are doing, so just got towatch weights

Yup you'll be over your payload. Better off with a 350 tank with that, frame a full tank and 2 people you should have about 300kg left for gear.

Ok guys, thanks for info...there will be 2 men working some of the time would you say a 500ltr tank be to much or ok?and could you possibly advise on suppliers of quality kits, thanks again

Hi,not 100% at mo as picking van up weekend but its a fiat scudo 2.0

Older van or new van?

First generation van........ (1995 to 2007) payload 850kg to 900kg.

Second generation van... (2007 onwards) payload varies between 1000kg to 1200kg

Hi, 04 plate it is...Iv seen a kit on eBay that is 250ltr twin tank van mount ro system so 500ltr kit if both tanks full..would I get away with this on payload??thanks

Not my van,step-father had arranged to purchase...and my mates got a 400ltr kit in a Citroen berlingo so just assumed=bigger van=bigger kit....

yer you would get away with that, maybe even 2x 300lt tanks if its the 1200kg payload.

900 I think he said....sorry for sounding dumb on all this but all new to me and been getting mixed messages from company's...for instance ksystems said a 750ltr kit would be fine...but obviously not...so basically want to know what's the biggest that we can go for with vehicle we will have

my berlingo has a payload of 600kg, and i have a 375lt tanks in there 2 hose reels, hot water heater and gas bottle, portable system, 5-6 poles, trad gear, small set of ladders, had triple set ladders, 110ah battery, 25lt barrel, and im still under the weight, (just)

my partner is 600kg /emoticons/smile.png

yesterday i had 350litre with 4x25 litre barrels and a 100m hosereel with step ladders a battery and pump and my self... im assuming that would of just been under 600 /emoticons/tongue.png lol

An empty 750ltr bafled water tank will weigh 50kg (hope the one your getting is bafled).

So a full tank of water at 1ltr = 1kg will weigh 750kg, plus the weight of the tank itself at 50kg will be a total 800kg just for a full tank.

Also then add your bodyweight, passenger, tank of fuel, frame for water tank, and everything else you need to carry.

Like I said before, an '04' plate van will either be 850kg max payload or 900kg max payload, depending on which model it is.
