29 shifts left at work, gone are holiday pay, guaranteed pay in bank every week. I have been employed all my adult life 30 yrs so this is a massive step, I'm 100% doing it but still have niggles at the back of my head, but guess this is natural, just now I make before tax and ni 1190 quid, I will have 1405quids worth of work per month when I start cleaning full-time so if I get all my work done I should be quids in and hopefully my work will grow

Seems you are doing well already so can't see you strugling somehow /emoticons/wink.png

I started off with a big fat zero so you have a hell of a start on me /emoticons/wink.png

You'll be fine, you're already earning more than you are in your job. The only way is up and as you gain experience you'll get faster and pick up more work.

I remember when I left my job seventeen years ago, I was really nervous but looking back it was the best thing I ever did.

Thanks mate,I'm struggling to sleep my mind is racing all the time, I know it will be worth it, just keep thinking of what ifs that probably will not happen lol

I know what you mean, it's frightening leaving the security of a regular inve behind but be confident in your own abilities and take what you've done do far as inspiration. You can do it, you've already proved that, so go for it and leave the doubts behind.

You'll look back in a couple of months and wonder what you were ever worried about!

Yep, I know your correct and thanks once again, one thing I good at is working :)

Feb 2007 started with not one customer. By April that year took on my first employee. Now have 5 employees and will be taking on two more in the new year. Dont worry with hard work and abit of thought and a slice of luck it can be done.

Why is it such a leap of faith? If you are confident it what you are doing or going to do and have done your research it just means having little money coming in for a short period.

Doo when exactly do you finnish up on your current job? if it were me i would have waited until jan/feb were out of the way first then started your window cleaning round then as jan/feb here as you know are not the best of months! weather wise!

Finish 21st Dec, yep I know Jan / Feb. The weather ain't great but it usually ain't bad all the time and it don't bother me the days I Work, also if I start in the winter then I hopefully won't fear it next year, and I always have window and door repairs to help me through

Doo - I don't think think you have anything to worry about at all, as soon as you go solo, spend the days canvassing, leaflet dropping etc as hard as you can, should be able to double your, which should keep you nice an comfy /emoticons/smile.png
