Took the plunge today and went on a leaflet drop today, bit shaky at first , then thought bugger it if takeaway shops can do it so can i. suprised how quick the flyers were disapearing. i will now need to get more soon. Any way i got £48 of work without calling back yet. this is guaranteed so i hope to pick up more when i go knocking tomorrow on house leafleted. i will just mention flyer and that will be a straight yes or no no messing about explaining what you are offering, its all on the flyer for them to look at. I am now glad i went it boosts your confidence when you get a bit of good feed back and guaranteed work. roll on tomorrow.

i was going to go tonight but got too late go 2morrow around 5.30 - 7.30 yes any work is a good result all in same area, hope i get a round built in th,nice area.is area.

Yer that's true. I'm going out tomorrow night to drop off a load off.

ive usually sat back after flyer drop and wated for phone to ring but not this time if it dosent come to me i will go to them. picked wrong time with dark nights early but i will persevere. just do it. cheers all

some one asked a price for a conny clean, all windows frames tops, i said around £25. she nearly choked on her tea. i said thats cheap, look online prices starting from £25 - £90+ a franchise company called cleanit.uk, i nearly choked on my tea prices for conys / upvc going upto £100+ looking @ their prices , by the way they do use up to date solvents.

Smurf, got virosol 2day, say you have a 5 litre sprayer what ratio virosol to water, i take it its ok on upvc window frames., trying it 2morrow if i spray something on its more impressive than a soapy sponge. as i would normally.

Try 5 parts water to 1 part virosol first in a small hand spayer and if doing by hand after spraying scrub with a chepo asda washing up white none scratch sponge (multipacks), Then let dwell for a few mins not letting it dry out then wipe off or rinse well with pure water.

Can use stronger mix if needed or even neat but test a small are first.

If doing higher 2 storey work without ladders like window frames, gutters etc with a pole just spray some on the brush scrub and let dwell again. Then rinse well with pure water if using wfp method....

Bit of trial & error when you start off but you will soon get the hange of it mucker /emoticons/wink.png

ahh thanks for the info but how does that work with a water fed pole ???????

more flyers this morning, dropped kid at school, flyerng from 9 till 12, knackered, i then realised i was straying away from my main area, so easy to do, back out tomorrow chasing them up, i got one new customer , yes how exciting you say. get my new logo on my sweatshirts next week, displayed on the back i need to get noticed by new to be customers hopefully. i dont have a signed van so this is my way of getting noticed while working by the public. if i dont have enough work for this time next year i will pobablly be selling up. so i am determined to canvass all areas so i know i have not left any reason as to why i havent built my rounds up as i could.

Very well,... but can be hard work /emoticons/biggrin.png For guttering, fascia & soffits just wet the area you are working on first then prespray or spray directly onto the brush with tfr, virosol, ukik2000, or evern a chepo washing up mix whatever you like that works. Then scrub it down with the brush head, let dwell for a while and rinse off well.

Tap water is fine (if they have an outside tap) but just have to make sure whatever window cleaning method you do clean the windows afterwards to help keep the customer happy /emoticons/smile.png

Example one of many full exterior cleans I have done using wfp that would have been impossible to do any other way....
