Help Support WCF:

There is too many cleaners about these days to claim streets.. There is one area I'm in and there is at least 8 other cleaners about.. Iv heard ones saying to their mates.. There's another eff'in window cleaner.. Others Iv walked by and nodded.. Iv actually seen 1 of them round 3 or 4 areas im in, that are all miles apart!!

Never had any confrontations and hope it never happens, but I pay taxes, insurance etc and am doing this to support my family and keep a roof over our heads, no 1 will tell me where I can and cannot work

Like I said before It's the norm for me to book jobs in were ppl already have a reagular window cleaner and I've met a few while working without any issues. /emoticons/wink.png

To be honest that's why I don't do just window cleaning as would rather spend a day or two at one property address doing exterior deep cleaning were the money is an get paid the same day. Why bother scrabbling about with lets say £10 4 weekly cleans when each job you could be doing could be worth alot more than 12 visits to the same property. Diversification is the key as every tom, dcik and harry starts up every week doing window cleaning in my area and probably the same in yours too

but its getting so hard tho to find realy paying customers that pay on time

Problem with diversifying, is you will be late allot to ur window cleaning customers while you do deap cleans. I think if its a tough area, and ur not busy with the wc then yeah do other stuff, but if you can stay busy with wc, then stick to that. Its gauranteed income each month.

Working on your own you can only work so many hours in a week doing window cleaning. Offering a wide range of services can generate alot more income for the same amont of hours. That's one good reason why I don't want a large wc round. Simples....

How do you keep the extra jobs comin in each week tho? Pressure washing, gutters are usually an annual thing..

You assume that but it's not the case for me anyways as all the deep cleaning services I offer I get work all year round.

Everybody idealy wants a regular monthly income from window cleaning. If you are one of the lucky ones that has built up a large round then good going. However so many fall to build up a large enough round to pay the bills that's another reason why you can get conflict with others on so say their patch.

I don't normally agree with you, but have to say smurf..... Exact same thinking as me.

If much rather have a decent but not large size window cleaning round, and push the other services and be at a house for say half a days deep cleaning. It's more profitable.

I think you need a steady Wc round aswell, but it doesn't need to be large.
