So mrs watching carp on TV again so I'm sitting here digging through topics and there's massive amounts of experience and knowledge on the forum from what shows as an equally obvious large array of back grounds so.... What got you into window cleaning and what did you do before..... May be interesting! I'll start the ball rolling.

Army

Auto detailing

Moved the the iow tried retiring didnt like that, got a part time job involving window cleaning thought this is good, now thinking of having a second try at retiring lol GF

 
Fully trained Chef 4 years

Builder, decorators, kitchen and bathroom fitting, tiling, etc etc

Then window cleaner

Helping out a window cleaner part time then moved area and started it up myself to expand company.

 
meny years on the rd as a mobial fiter fixing wagons vans jcbs cars all plant cost to cost to boders of scotland to the midlands

 
worked in a conveniance store

then had a few odd travel agency jobs which i didnt last for more then 1 day lol /emoticons/tongue.png

then worked at a call centre ( still do it part time )

and done a bit of dodgy stuff on the side lol

I worked in a bakery... Got sacked

Broke my back... Was on the sick for a few years

Started an apprenticeship as an aeronautical engineer... Got sacked

Bought 2 wee runs with a mate for our weekend fund.. That didn't work out so we went our own ways..

Had 2 kids, then just canvassed like mad...

second kid on the way, working to many hours, doing a good job and getting nowt back. i like the ideas of being outside, keeping healthy and spending more time with the kids and wife (to be)

 
Worked down coal mine when left school.

Went into a hosiery factory.

DJ'ed through all that but now took it up full time.

Now window cleaning with a view to quitting DJ'ing.

 
Worked in retail: DO-IT-ALL / Focus DIY

Factory work: Made fence panels & trellis. Made UPVC windows (ironic eh)

Sales manager for local firm for 11 years (made redundant)....
