Usual run of the mill day for me. Got a bollocking for leaving 2 gates open (I was dodging dog do do's and my mind was elsewhere). Bloke was like an angry lion chewing on a deer :-(. Got to a first clean and realised I was going to struggle to reach a velux I said I could reach easily. Had to stand on a garden chair and the pole was at full stretch. Managed it, just. My last job of the day, as I got there it started raining and the bloke says if you clean them in this they'll end up all smeary. I'd lost the will by now and just did the front.

How was your day?

id a very good day after all the rain 5 gutter jobs and i got a full external house clean on a large farm house ,also a few window jobs came in on the fone /emoticons/biggrin.png

Today was a great day weather wise it was quite warm.. This weather happened last year just before Xmas! Better than the summer we got!!

But I stood in do do's, other than that it was just a usual day as a window cleaner

LOL... /emoticons/biggrin.png

Started work at 8:45 nice and dry when i set off, got to my first job and it started to rain... hummmbug. Apart from that, finished at 3.00 and took £138.00 not bad. Get a good day in tomorrow weather looks good. Staring part of a new round for the first time... see how it goes.

Was well ahead this afternoon. Got to 3pm and thought, I'll just do a 20 quid job but only had about 15L left max. Decided to call it a day.

Forgot to turn the tap on last night do had 3/8 of a tank. Let it fill to half tank so set off late so it was getting dark when I finished. Last customer had just had an annexe built so an extra tenner worth of work there. Leading had marked her glass so I cleaned that off and got an extra tenner and bottle of wine as a thank you. So started off bad and ended good.

Rained all day today. Did 2 indoor jobs & that was it. Spose to be better for the week but dropping to -2 at night. Thermals readying. Brrrrr

Lol at the moment I'm only Wc weekends so yesterday I had tesco breakfast with the boy, fiancée n my brother, then started the office job at 10 and finished up at 6:30pm - very busy as our systems were down all last week!!!

Got home and then my brother called, they shut the M25 and he was unsure how to get bk to sw London from Henkel Hempstead so ended up using google maps to help him get home lol (he's a postie van driver btw)

Got sore hands from the cold, had Xmas tips of £10, £20 and £20. Also one of the £20 tippers gave me £50 as well to treat my wife to a meal (does she think I don't feed her lol)

A very kind gesture. I was choked. Thanks Mrs S.

Hopefully I'll make enough to buy a Nexus 7 tablet with my tips, or some Diablo Corsas tyres for my bike. It's expensive being me /emoticons/smile.png
