Help Support WCF:

Bless,...you are very welcome trying to do 3 storey trad works with a pole.

Example of 3 storey job I was called out to clear the gutters on this property and ended up again doing a full external deep clean including all windows & doors, conservatory roof & sides, even cleaned their large tarmac driveway.

Just goes to show you have absolutley no idea of what your going on about !!!

You can not compare trad on a pole to wfp they are 2 totally different techniques

Im not going to even try and explain the differences .

On a lighter note here is how not to use a pole for trad work. But at least the windows are left cleaner and dry /emoticons/biggrin.png

How much would you guys charge to trad clean all those windows. Wfp I would charge £30.

Makes you think doesn't it chaps why some take unnecessary risks like that just to earn a few bucks. Go figure

Why did you guys start this old thread. Its like asking what's better, your cooker, or your microwave? None. Its really depends on the situation. WFP will be better in some situations, where as, Trad will be better in others. But you need both. If you go 100% wfp, then will you never clean the insides of a shop or house? If you go 100% trad, like me, you have to walk away from some jobs that would be too dangerous, which you may have otherwise been able to do.

Was just replying to steve's post and think you have answered the question rather well /emoticons/tongue.png

Hi guys just registered to the forum, have been doing my round for 4 years now and have built it up quite well, since ive started have been cleaning the windos using the trad method and my customers are more than happy with my work but recently been contemplating using wfp system but about 50% of my customers are not keen on the idea, is it worth spending the money on the wfp system?

On another note check out mark hendersons bike its awesome, and if you see this mark can you send me tips on how to start a round abroad, thanks for reading guys

Sod doing that trad. That's what my backpacks for. I'd love to be able to wagtail on a pole. I've watched vids & tried but cannot get the hang of it.

Posh, I have used the unger pole with a unger squeegee(S Type) so not wagtaill, I learnt how to clean a window with a pole.

Not as good result as just using a squeegee by hand.

what you think that i dont no the difence between tradional and water fed well iv already show people on hear i do no the difference

Realy NO LONGER USER i No nothing what ever !!!!!!!!! WHO FEELS LIKE A FOOL NOW

If i remember rightly, if using pole, its best not to clean the edges, even still, leave a small gap on the top part of the window, as to not get water from squeege(soap) there when pulling down squeegee, whereas if you did that by hand it leaves a bit of water on the top or around edges, and you would scrim it off so if you know what I mean hard to explain...wheres ladder when you need him!
