I would like to start cleaning estate agent properties but i am not sure how to approach them in what manner and how it would work do i ask them for the details of the home owners or what?

What do you mean by estate agent properties? And why specifically do you want to do them?

Hi

Do you mean window cleaning or end of lease cleaning?

If end of lease: just pop in their looking smart with I'd etc and just approach them and maybe offer to clean their shop windows for free??

Make sure you are prepared and have a few leaflets etc ready to leave with them.

May start by saying your a local contract cleaner and want to get I their approved list for their customers, if they say tey don't have an approved list then ask them if you can leave leaflets to give to their clients for end of lease if they could give them to the landlords aswell.

do yourself a favour and dont even bother, we all think these ideas are gold when we first start but you will end up with irregular jobs all over the place, you will have to price them super competitively to get them and will be running round all over the place for feck all, until someone else walks in the office with a cheaper price and you lose it all.

concentrate on a good, profitable and regular domestic round.

I clean for a few in Leeds. Mainly carpet cleaning with the odd bit of window cleaning. All I did was Google estate agents or property maintenance companies in Leeds, and emailed them from there website. It worked for me! Make sure you have insurance.

Don't take too many on, as you don't want to rely on your only source of work coming from them, just in case they go bust, you won't have any work then. 12% of my work comes from property companies, that's more than enough for me.

I tend to concentrate on private landlords rather than big estate agents they pay better and don't expect you to drop everything (well most of them) there just harder to find I just tend to approach builders when im out working and have a chat ask what there upto if they say there renovating for a landlord I ask for there number then go from there

Erm landlords go to estate agents /emoticons/wacko.png its the land lords that will call you and pay you, not the estate agents no????

some use estate agents but thers a few who do it all themselves they just put adds in local papers and windows avoids them paying estate agent fees
