Please Help I Have Made A Boo Boo

Recieved my slx18 today, But the end that goes into the hose is smaller than the conection i use. What do i do???.

Basically it looks like it should fit a micro bore hose??? where as i just have a normal hose. Not sure if i am making sence,

Im blonde for a reason.

u might have a 8mm connector and 6 mm hose

You should be able to get increasing or decreasing adaptor from you suppliers. I recently had a similar problem on a hosevreel, the adaptor cost me 65p! Can you show a picture?

Hi Sharon,

If you’re in a rush, Google pneumatic connectors, if you find a local supplier they should have a part for you. Take with you a couple of inches of the hoses just to make sure you get the correct sizes, save you a second trip.

That’s just the male plug for a Rectus type fitting, they cost about a £1.

If you keep that part, you need the corresponding connector with a hose tail to fit your hose.

Im not in a drastic rush, As not got brush for it yet.... Can i not remove the end of my ionic pole and fix to slx?

If your not in rush Gardiner’s could send you the part

You could swap the parts from your previous pole, if the same size, or even use the old hose as long as its 8mm OD to fit the brush.
