Sill Brush Head Or Normal

To bad Richard isn't selling brushes to Americans. Most of them could care less about weight because over here bigger is better.
I have sent over a few Tecbuk brushes to the US in the past couple of years. The average order size has been 4 brushes at a time, depends on the delivery weight, if its below/up to 1kg it 2 brushes, very rarely send out 1 brush to a customer because the delivery cost don’t go up when they have 2.

Richard

Mike, I would need the full delivery address; prices also change day to day. I do shop around for the best shipping cost as well.

Richard

Richard: Thanks for the speedy reply to my email. I guess freight for one or two brushes is about triple the domestic rates but you guys don't charge as much as our US suppliers do for similar brushes so it kinda evens out. Most UK brushes aren't even sold here. One supplier sells SLX poles with a Vikan brush. That should be against the law. Haha

Hi Mike,

I have noticed the prices in the US appear to be higher for wfp; I have sold or even given for free plenty of angle adapters. Brush extension, spares etc with the sale of brushes because of the prices you pay for some of these items.

If you only have 1 fully jetted brush with the two head attachments, fixed scraper head and SideTrack pivoting head, I can fit in into the smaller size brush box & if the weight is low enough shipping cost with the Royal Mail will be between £10-£15 depending on the how quick the delivery.

Package size, total weight with packing, how quick the delivery all affect the delivery cost, I could probably send it by boat, for less than £5 but you will have to wait a month or 2. /emoticons/biggrin.png

I only clean two commercial jobs with a WFP in the winter. They take about 3 hours so that's 9 hours for the whole winter. I'll suffer with my Gardiner DT until spring when my residential customers start calling again. Haha

PS

Seriously: Every time I use my Gardiner brush I'll be wondering if I'd be better off with a Tecbuk. The SL-X pole and Super-Lite DT brush are premium products, perhaps the best in the world but like I said you got my attention. I am looking forward to reading some reviews on the new brush design. Perhaps Mark will get one and make a new video for YouTube. :)

What's the price of a maintenance clean brush Richard. I wanna give one a try.

What are the specs of the brush.

Bristles? Weight? Etc.

Cheers.

Jetted brush stock £34.97, comes with, 2x2mm pencil jets, jet hose & quick release Y piece

For first time user of the Tecbuk brushes I tend to recommend the Duel Trim Hybrid brush these days for your maintenance cleans, purely because new customers really like the extra scrubbing ability these brushes have. 83% Red Polyester monofilament & 17% Black Boars Hair, centred.

Richard

Just curious. Are you a young strong guy or an older guy who's lost a step or two? The guys who shout lighter is better may be from the older ranks of the window cleaning profession.

Cheers Richard. Will contact you during weekend and get it ordered.

Busy today sorting this bloody van out. I hate wires lol

When you’re ready Damo,

Mike over 40 /emoticons/sad.png , but strong enough to lift a brush for a few more years B)

Yep, I agree Belfastcleaning, all Tecbuk brushes are very easy brushes to use, the few grams weight difference is nothing compared to struggling with an awkward brush, or even a flexible pole.

I was using a Duel Trim Boars hair brush today, short bristles version, cleaning the 1st floor windows with only one hand and yet a lot of people think Boars Hair brushes have a lot of drag, not all of them.

This DT Boars brush is great for maintenance cleans and easy to use one handed with a water flow rate of just 2.3 litres a minute. It’s actually much easier to use than most competitors monofilament brushes.

You should never be struggling to use any brush when working with wfp, you want to be focussed on cleaning the windows, not trying to get the brush to do its job.

The short bristles Duel Trim Boars Hair Brush is my favourite, or at least used the most often, it’s not for everyone though, many like the longer DT version, or the Full Trim versions
