Wfp V Traditional Cleaning

I had a customer tell me after I changed him from trad to wfp.. He said whatever you put in that water works!! My windows look so clean you wouldn't think there was glass there!!

I can only speak for myself' date=' and I have only used the wfp for cleaning domestic customers, but I have had many of them say to me that there windows stay cleaner longer with this method of cleaning. So I cannot say if it's a 100% true statement. Other windys near me they have had the same remark too... so is it true?[/quote']It is true that WFP cleaned windows stay cleaner for longer. The reason being that when a window is cleaned traditionally there is an almost microscopically thin layer if detergent left on the glass whereas cleaning with WFP leaves nothing on the glass.

This layer of detergent (essential to allow the squeegee to glide smoothly over the glass) is quite "sticky" compared to the glass and this allows the dirt in the air to stick to the window more readily so the dirt build up

Is quicker.

The advantage for the customer is windows that stay cleaner longer. It's my opinion that the ideal clean period is about six weeks. When cleaning traditionally the ideal is probably 2-3 weeks in theory allowing traditional window cleaners the opportunity to earn more cash per customer.

Been cleaning since 2001 and have been wfp for 3 years.

Round has been run at 5 weeks always.

I have 110% noticed the windows stay cleaner longer. Especially leaded windows.

I turn up at some houses and they don't even need cleaning.

A couple of customers have gone to every 10 weeks. Windows looks almost the same compared to 5/10 weeks.

The weather will play a big part on how long windows will stay clean!

if you had howling wind and driving rain windows will be bogging no matter what method you used to clean them!

With pure water it attracts the dirt while your cleaning and you get a better clean if done properly. My misses works in sterile services for hospitals and they use di water for cleaning instruments so in a way your sterilizing the windows. Dirt builds up on dirt and where trad is good enough your never going get things like guskets and that bit between the window and sill you can get right in there with a brush and flush it out and water with detergent is always going to leave residue behind whereas with pure water if it is rinsed properly will leave nothing for dirt to get a hold on

There systems that we use are the the same dentists use to keep everything clean, hospitals might have to go a bit further than we just do but it's the same.

Obviously they autoclave the instruments but they have r/o system for cleaning, I have a customer who worked in a lab and they used di water for cleaning and I ask him about the flammable properties because it came up once on the forum and said they actually conducted an experiment and they couldnt set it alight in a laboratory setting. I use the same water for my fish tank and it stays clearer for longer than when I use tap water, would say that that is a controlled test.

I've noticed a difference as well. When I changed my residential customers over from traditional to WFP I could tell the difference 12 months later on the return trip. And easier to clean as well. My monthly commercial jobs always look clean unless we have a big storm. It's the bees knee. ;-)

It's what the chap said on facebook, saying my claim that windows stay cleaner longer using the wfp is false... Not by by customers it's not.

My dad does some work for the company. They supply all of it. INC RESIN!!! the resin lasts about 4 years!!
