Reminding Yourself About When You Need To Do Customers, Best Way?

WCF

Help Support WCF:

I use excel and email the sheet to myself so i can look at it on my phone. I never really look at it though as I remember from looking the night before as to what I've gotta do. This also means if my computer goes down I've got a back up in email form. I used to use a book from fmwc but I found it got tatty over the months from having it out at work.

I'm trailing round partner....it's good but they are still developing. If they can make it sync to google calenders I'd be happier

We should have it sync with google calender in few days time. We working at a short term solution for off-line use and this is the best option till we finish building the app. I glad we are on the right track for you CnS

I defo barley, everything I have suggested you have done exactly how I pictured and its really getting there /emoticons/smile.png

Its always best to have a backup plan. I keep a printed list of customers in a safe place but quickly goes out of date with new customers to add. With RoundPartner we backup the system on several servers every hour and we use a system could hashing which is like encryption but much more secure. You can also backup it to your own hard-drive. We working on reminder service that lets you know in advance if you need to contact the customer before hand and on the dashboard you get a summery of the next few jobs due.

my roundtracker i save onto a usb, because a year ago i got a virus and windows wouldnt start and i had to format the whole harddrive and lost everything. so now i always email a copy to myself which is safe and i have a usb with backup copies on it that i update each month. going to get a diary tomorrow.

nearlyclean you must work in the posh places then with coded gates lol i deal with a barking dog normally from next door or the wheelie bin put up against the gates lol /emoticons/biggrin.png

Some have those padlocks with combinations on, wheelie bin up against the gate is what I deal with most of the time. I do a few posh houses that have access gates, some I just the night before and press the trade button. Have to remember my cap so I can tip it when me lady comes to the window

i have to remind my customers all the time im coming. if someones out and you cant do the back do you charge half the price? ive climbed fences before, i always carry step ladders with me now, some custys lock there gates on purpose so they dont have to pay, some hide lol. i get round it tho in my terms and conds lol

yeh, if i do that they complain lol

i quote my work diff to most cleaners tho i think. i always start off on £1 then add windows on top. that quids fuel

I do it time based now, going of £30-£35ph so when I get better, a two bed semi should take 15-20 (currently takes me 30minutes) so at 20 minutes is want bout £10 /emoticons/smile.png
