Ive just signed up with a 0800 company that divert the calls to my mobile and its cheap as chips £11 per month no upfront fees and no contract . Since having the number my inquiries have doubled as its free for them to call me now and looks more proffesional . Anybody interested let me know ill forward details over.

Do you have to pay for there (customer) calls ringing you on the 0800 number? Or is it just £11 per month and that's it?

The way it works is you buy a set minutes package £11 is for 150 mins a month or they do more mins packages but to be honest i dont think ill go over the receving 150 mins package a month.

That's not that bad then. I never thought of having one, as most people have free calls anyway either on there mobile or land-line. Hey, but if it works, fair play.

I think you'll find that a lot of people are put off by 08 numbers as they know if they're calling from a mobile they'll have to pay for it and most phone tariffs don't include them.

0300 numbers are the new thing as they're free to call from mobiles and landlines. These are pushing down the cost of 08 numbers.

Our office number is an 08 number but we've had that for two years and the hassle of changing just isn't worth it!

can't see the point myself in 0800 or 0300 numbers as if a customer wants a quote has three ways to contact me already. Go figure

People dont know about 0300 numbers though. Also when people see numbers like 0800 and so n do people also be put off cos they feel like their calling a big company and think its a headache as they wont speak to theactual cleaner , wer az a normal mobile number they think u just work for yaself and u go straight to the cleaner , 0800 is gud for commercial but not for domestic

Ur right ppl don't know about 0300 numbers I had to ring 1 other day and I was worried bout ringing off house phone, thought I was gonna get stung

People especially old folk do like to see local addresses and use local phone numbers. Simples

I've seen sign written vans going about looking very professional but just so happens to be travellers that rip people off.. /emoticons/biggrin.png
