How many of you lads have trolley systems on here! and what type? can you put pics if possible!

I use pure freedom which is ok. Main advantage over a fixed tank trolley is it can be used static in a van too by just conecting it to a van tank when you don't need it as a trolley /emoticons/smile.png

I agree with smurf there that is what i use to do ,But i went van mount because i needed to many barrels and was fed up running back to the van changing them over i use a backpack now on a trolley for the occasional job

It uses the same quality kit as a van mount so all you need to do is fit in the van a decent size tank to feed it instead of keep having to swap barrels.

Unlike H who decided to strip it down to make a van mount then go a buy a chepo backpack. Go figure

Not having a go about anyone using a backpack but the parts they use and build quality seem utter **** to me so would not last very long if I used one to be honest.

i have had mine about 2 years now but i only use it 3-4 times a month so i really don't know how long it would last but they don't fill like they were made to be used all the time

Indeed Mark.

Quite easy but to be honest can be a pain in the **** using any type of trolley and lugging barrels of water about. That's why after a very short time I started using it static in the van conected to a van tank instead then just added 100 m hose reel. Job done as wagga would say /emoticons/wink.png

i used to have a trolley.... and it was a right headache .... after a few days i left it in the van and i worked from the van /emoticons/smile.png cos i had a 350ltr tank in their /emoticons/smile.png

so i got my self a 100m hose reel... and i never ever toke the trolley out... so i thought strip this and van mount it /emoticons/smile.png

a trolley was a headache co the trolley u had to lug about... which was annoying... then on top of that ... u got to back and get the 25ltr barrel.... u cant move the trolley about with the 25litre barrel on it.

so i got a backpack /emoticons/smile.png and i love the backpack... i dont mind using the backpack all day... its not heaby as the trolley or a 25litre container... cos i only fill it 1/2 or 3/4 and i jsut lug it about with me and i can crack on ... i dont need to go back to get a 25litre container like before

but i hardly use the backpack i only use it for awkward access to a few places... plus 1 day my pump stopped working so i had a backpack sat their that saved the day /emoticons/smile.png

a backpack is totally different comapred to the trolley its much more easier to use i got to say /emoticons/smile.png

I use a pure freedom 50ltr trolley. It's good for the houses I do. I read on here about fitting a longer hose so I can go over flat rooves. Most houses I can get to the backs without a problem. So I'm working out which is quicker reeling in and out a hose, or running the wheelie bin chicane.

im using the pf trolley for nearly 3 years and cant fault it , would you stick a small engine on it james and leave the van at home lol /emoticons/biggrin.png
